My Lensbaby came out for a quick peek, when @RachidH @BirdGalalcatraz and I visited Las Gallinas Pond. The shot above was with my Composer and the Sweet 35 Optic.
My two companions were using longer lenses and focused on the birds–while I enjoyed the sights and a view bird shots as well.

Great Egret Landing
I so enjoy the beauty of the Great Egrets and can watch their antics for long stretches of time. The one above moved locations and came in for a timely landing.
While the weather was less than cooperative for our day of shooting, did enjoy the magic of cloudy skies and shooting scenery.

I couldn’t resist sharing this shot. Reminds of the game for rainy school days, “Heads Up, Seven Up”. This must just be Heads up, Three Up! Or, 3 butts and a head!

Truth be told…while this looks like lovely ponds–they are part of a water treatment plant in Marin County–but do make for a wonderful visit with nature. Just don’t drink the water!

What a treat, friends, fun lenses and a beautiful place to walk, talk and capture beautiful memories. Especially loved the lens baby Swallow/flowers view point and the witty duck shot. Wonderful photos and post.

These are really terrific, Laura. The swallows with the wildflowers are lovely and the duck butts are very cute, but my favorite is the third shot of the scenery with the creek running through. I know the spot where it was taken and it’s just beautiful!

Hi Laura, i cant have enough of looking at your photos and remembering that great day. I now understand better your always looking at the sites differently from either Jann or myself. I am sure it is not just the lensbaby, certainly that different art streak you have. I asked myself a number of times why i couldnt get a shot like that.Specifically that circle of light in Muir Woods. As to bottoms-up i wonder what the shot would look like thru the lensbaby. A Fun day I’ll never forget. Thank You both great ladies for making it possible.

A most wonderful post filled with beautiful photographs! I’m especially fond of the Barn Swallows, flowered field and “butts up” images, though all are terrific. Always a pleasure to view your blog!
