In Love with D700!
Something magical about watching a storm come in.
I rented the D700 for the weekend and found myself in the right spot at the right time with an amazing camera! Have since then upgraded from my D60 to the D300s, still drooling for Nikon’s next fullframe camera. Currently, enjoying my camera and learning more and more every day!
You are the blog I have ever responded or even accessed! Did you take the header photo too. They are both fantastic! You should be so proud. CONGRATS!!

Wow, you are getting brave with your computer. Am honored to be your first blog visit ever! Yes, the header is from Pt. Reyes, a view across from the parking lot–a little point juts out, windy as all get out there!

Hi Laura. Storm Brewing is simply beautiful. I love the almost foreboding light! I read you shoot with a Lensbaby . Me too. I have the original 2.0 double glass. I liked the results I got with the cropped frame 40D (no aperture installed ) Like me ,you may be disappointed with the bend you get when installed on the full frame D700 ! My 2.0 is basically like the new Muse. I like the Muse style Lensbaby because you can never get the same pic twice it is just a spontaneous style of shooting . Here are some links to my photo blogs. Hope you take a look – jimmy

Thanks Jimmy!
Appreciate your comments and wish I had the D700 all the time. Someday, I will! For now, learning the menu on my D300s and loving it!
I have the Lensbaby Composer and almost every optic. Just need to add the fisheye and the newer wide angle, someday for that too!
Didn’t know when I started with photography I’d always have a wish and want list:)
Off to check out your work:)
